What is Spectrum Skate?
Spectrum Skate is a special program hosted by the Y Junction Skate and BMX Park during every school holiday period throughout the year.
This initiative offers a fun, inclusive, and free skateboarding experience for young people with learning disabilities, autism, and other spectrums.
Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can connect with others through the joy of skateboarding.

Program highlights
Inclusive and supportive
Spectrum Skate sessions are designed to be welcoming for individuals with diverse needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and other spectrums. We aim to create a positive and affirming space for all participants.
Free participation
Enjoy free access to skateboarding lessons, equipment hire, and coaching. We believe in making skateboarding accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Safe and controlled environment
Our sessions are conducted in a secure and friendly environment, supervised by experienced coaches who are trained to provide personalized support and ensure the safety of all participants.
Skill development and fun
Participants will engage in structured skateboarding lessons that focus on fundamental skills, safety, and enjoyment. Our coaches will guide skaters through various techniques and tricks while encouraging fun and creativity.
